Cherimoya (also known as cherimoya or custard apple) is one of the most emblematic tropical fruits of the Costa Tropical in southern Spain.

At Oasisss, our cherimoyas grow under the unique subtropical climate of Salobreña, where the combination of Mediterranean sea breeze, fertile soil and mild winters creates exceptional sweetness, aroma and creamy texture.

Our cherimoya season usually begins around September and can continue until May, making it one of the longest tropical fruit harvests of the year.

Each cherimoya is harvested by hand directly from the tree at the perfect moment of ripeness. The fruit is known for its soft custard-like texture and delicate flavor, often described as a mix of vanilla, banana and pineapple.

We grow our cherimoyas naturally on our small tropical fruit farm and ship seasonal fresh fruit directly from Spain.

Why is Costa Tropical cherimoya special?

The Costa Tropical of Granada is one of the few places in Europe where cherimoya can grow naturally outdoors. The subtropical microclimate allows the fruit to mature slowly on the tree, developing a richer aroma and smoother texture than imported cherimoyas.
